A Study on Automatic Grammar Error Correction for Chinese Learners Based on Deep Learning Technology

This book explores the impact of optimal combination of corpus data on model construction by using deep learning techniques under the perspective of language transfer theory, and finally builds a high-performance Chinese learner-specific grammar error correction model for Chinese English learners' grammatical errors. The book consists of seven chapters. The first chapter mainly introduces the research background, significance, research objectives, research questions and research steps. Chapter 2 systematically reviews the current state of research on English learners' grammar error correction. Chapters 3 and 4 discuss the construction process and methodology of building a grammar error correction model for Chinese English learners. Chapter 5 analyzes the performance of the deep learning model on specific error types and discusses the innovations and insights of the grammar error correction model constructed in this study. Chapter 6 reports the enhancement effect of manually written grammar rules on the deep learning model. Chapter 7 summarizes the findings of the study and presents research insights, shortcomings and future research directions. This book is suitable for university foreign language researchers and master's and doctoral students who are interested in research related to grammatical error correction for English language learners, and it can provide a reference for related research.
